Owner Spotlight: Jordan St. Pierre

I’m Jordan St. Pierre, a mortgage broker serving Edmonton, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, St. Albert, and Devon, with The Mortgage Centre. I am excited to share my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.

I discovered my love for real estate the first time I purchased a property. I enjoyed every aspect of the process and wanted to pass on the knowledge that I learned from my own experience to first time home buyers, so I decided to pursue a career as a mortgage broker.

I completed my mortgage license in 2012 and soon got to work on matching my clients with the right lender, saving them time and money in the process. As I progressed, I eased into the role of a full-time mortgage broker in 2016.

Over the past four years, I have noticed that the business has evolved dramatically with changes in products, lender guidelines, and mortgage rules. The introduction of the stress test has been the most significant game-changer.

To address the changes, I’ve stayed up to date with the latest regulations and devised mortgage financing solutions tailored to the specific needs, goals, and plans of my clients. 

I assist my clients through the whole process, and I’m accessible from the pre-approval stage, right till the time they complete the transaction and secure the keys to their dream home. I even consult them after they move into their new house!

I always render honest advice, and as an individual, I believe what sets me apart from the others is my integrity. I also attribute my success to working hard and ensuring that every interaction is positive. 

Problem-solving under tight timelines is rewarding, and when I am not securing mortgage financing, I love to unwind by playing golf, traveling, and spending time with my wife, family, and two dogs.
